It’s logical that a high quality backlink would come from a high quality website, and that a high quality site would also be a very trustworthy site. To determine if a website is trustworthy, search engines use a set of trusted seed sites (for example, Wikipedia, BBC, The Huffington Post, etc.), which they know for sure are high quality and which are difficult to get links from. The fewer the number of links away a site is from one of the seed sites, the higher its TrustRank is, and the higher the quality a link from that site is.

Make sure the links are contextual, if you can, rather than hidden in author bios where they are less likely to be clicked and where Google doesn’t love them as much. The best way to get a natural contextual link is to treat that resource exactly as you would if it was someone else’s. Just put it in naturally, and use anchor text that refers to its relevance, not to your site. And be generous. In the top search result above, Patel links out to Quicksprout once, and to Moz, Copyblogger, and a bunch of other places as well.

For an even better shot at backlinks to these archived webinar pages, partner up with another company, brand, or influencer for the webinar in the first place. Not only do two well-aligned brands make for a powerful presentation, but it'll widen the audience -- even after the webinar is over. (Learn tips on creating a webinar in this blog post.)
Jordan August 20, 2015 at 2:39 pm / Reply Hi Felix, I just found your blog today. I’ve actually never tried the strategies you mentioned. One of the problems I find about guest posting is that it doesn’t work in ever single niche. For instance, one of the niches I am in people simply don’t guest post on other blogs. I also tried broken link method, didn’t work well for me. Probably need to try it once more. Another thing I’ve used to drive traffic to my websites is to write in relevant forums. A few of them allow you to had a signature. It’s quite old school I know but it still works. Thanks, Jordan
Felix Tarcomnicu August 21, 2015 at 8:17 am / Reply Howdy Jordan, Yeah…in boring niches it’s a bit more complicated. But you know what?! If it’s complicated for you to get backlinks, it will be complicated for your competitors as well. This means that with less backlinks you’ll be able to rank higher. Have you checked your competitors backlinks? I’m sure you can find some good opportunities there. Regards, Felix
7 Reasons Why You’ll Continue To Fail As A Niche Marketer In 2017 Can you believe 2017 is here already? Last year went fast, right? Like some of the previous years, niche marketing went through a number of developments in 2016. More Google search algorithm changes again. Increased focus on content. And the ever changing SEO techniques. These are just some of the things that kept niche marketers busy and guessing

I think, frist of all building good relationship with same peers or niche’s is important because, it is all about the crowd and community who is interested to hear from you. So it is very important to build a community or regular audience first and then focus on build the backlinks.

For example, many people relied on private blog networks to help boost and achieve high PR. Then, Google threw a bomb, known as the PBN deindexing update, which tanked rankings for sites that had used that technique.
5 Point Checklist For Writing The Perfect Affiliate Product Review What is it with affiliate product reviews? They're so good for your site. But they're just so damn hard to write. So you want to build quality backlinks to your website and rank higher in Google. That’s what all SEOs want. With Google Penguin and other similar threats, you have to be very cautious at what type of backlinks you are building. If your website has lots of quality backlinks, good things will happen to your organic traffic. On the other side, bad backlinks will do more harm than good.
Well, Google assume that sites hosted in same IP address are more likely to be from same people. Linking from one site to another site from the same owner doesn’t add value to Google ranking, so links from same IP address hosted sites to a specific site doesn’t add any value to search ranking either.
Neil, this is a fantastic post. I like the idea to track competitors link. Though it is involving and challenging work, the end result is fulfilling. Thanks man.

Yes, Really to create backlinks manually is too hard, Quora is one of the best way to get link naturally. Bookmarking is also a great way to get some links back.
This method will help you to earn quick backlinks from high-quality pages. Broken link building technique is to find broken links on a website (related to your niche) and email the content owner and notify them about broken link. Along with that, give them a similar link from your website (Similar content which you already have to create one), and ask them to update their post.
@Allmoh May 24, 2014 at 8:53 am / Reply This is very useful tricks for beginner, but I think guest posting or contribute other related blogs is still a great way to build backlinks and become sponsor to the beginner related site can help a thousand time. Thanks for your valuable opinion.
Hello Mr Patel, I am working hard trying to get backlinks. You and backlinko.com are my go to guys for this. I have been emailing people on Social Media Examiner and messsaging other people on Facebook. I’m very determined. Love your work, Scott Davidson.
Even if a website has great SEO metrics, it doesn’t necessarily mean it will be good for your link building campaigns. One of the most important things to consider is site relevancy. If a website is not relevant to yours, you might end up building a bad backlink. Google uses relevance as a trust signal. If your website sells baby chairs, getting a link from a site about guitars will not help you. Therefore, make sure the website you are analyzing is covering the same topics as you are and check if they are in the same niche. If the site is relevant, you might have a match.
If you can get backlinks only from sites with a domain authority above 50, you’ll have even better SEO results. However, to get started with link building, sites with a DA greater than 30 should be enough.
Basically, links should only be posted alongside meaningful comments and on relevant topics. Google Alerts can help you identify good places to do this. Now, these links aren’t very helpful for improving your authority, but they do bring traffic, and especially appropriate links might even be edited into the main article.
When you visit the page, you’ll see that it already has thousands of tweets and Facebook likes, which shows it is a viral post. This is the type of link acquisition to seek out.

But, link building is also about increasing the strength, juice, and potential of your inbound links. That’s why it’s essential to create a two-tier linking structure for your site.
Thank you so much Harsh. Because of Back link building, I was able to increase my organic traffic to more than 100% for the past one week and it has really been awesome. Now I don’t even have to share my posts on social media that much, traffics are flowing from Google and other search engines and it’s really awesome.

Great list. I was pretty doubtful about Squidoo for a long time. I made like 3-4 lenses and forgot about them for a few months. I ran across them while looking at my backlinks, and noticed the three of them were PR2, and the fourth was PR1. Now I wish I put more time into making them.
If you have blog or website, you should try to get backlinks without thinking too much. For example, if I open my laptop for 15 minutes, I start searching blog or forums and start contributing in it. If you work every day 15-30 minutes and get 5-10 real backlinks from your targeted audience using your hand and brain, it is one of the best seo.
